KATE MAHOOD RETURNS TO CAPTIVATE #AGNESBLUESFEST 2021
Following on from her captivating performance on the inaugural emerging/original artists’ Discovery Stage at #AgnesBluesFest last year, Central Queensland’s own songbird Kate Mahood will be returning to light up the main Marquee Stage in Feb 2021.
Blending folk stylings and country story-telling, Kate’s songs showcase her unique vocals and beautifully crafted guitar melodies. With heartfelt and often haunting lyrics, she portrays an honesty and vulnerability in her songs that resonate deeply with her listeners.
Since graduating from the Tamworth Academy of Country Music in 2017, Kate has gone from strength to strength; sharing stages with the likes of Sara Storer, Harry Manx and The Whitlams, and performing at numerous events and festivals around Central Queensland.
Kate Mahood is currently based in Byfield and is busy working on her debut EP, due to be released in 2021.
