Agnes Blues, Roots & Rock Festival are excited to announce The Earl of Grey as part of their 2020 Festival Lineup. With a pedal steel guitar playing father, The Earl of Grey has somewhat of a country music pedigree, however it is his own life journey that makes up the stories he tells. Often consisting of nothing more than a thumbed acoustic guitar and his signature booming gravel filled voice. The Earl of Grey seeks to connect with his audience through shared experiences of grief, joy and humour, allowing everyone to fully engage with the lyrics and emotional telling of the tales.
Prince Charming, the debut EP from The Earl of Grey debuted at Number 2 on the iTunes Country Charts and rose to number 1 country music album on iTunes shortly after release. Sharon Hare, Event Manager says, ‘We embrace our local musicians who tell their stories through the process of creating and recording their own original music and we are very excited to have The Earl of Grey join us to perform at the 2020 Festival’.
