Festival favourite and swamp-blues rocker 8 Ball Aitken is making his much-anticipated return to the Agnes Blues, Roots, & Rock Festival in 2025, and fans couldn’t be more excited. After his stellar performance as the official festival Ambassador in 2024, 8 Ball is back, ready to deliver his signature high-energy sound and down-to-earth charm.
With a career that has taken him across twenty countries, 8 Ball Aitken has become a beloved figure in the blues scene, captivating audiences with his swampy blues-rock sound and earning a loyal fanbase through his electrifying live performances and online presence.
And not only is 8 Ball ready to rock our Agnes Blues Fest stage well and truly once again, he will also be at the festival to soak up the headline performance of Ross Wilson.

8 Ball Aitken’s journey has seen him pay his dues as a singer, songwriter, slide-guitarist and producer. After moving to Nashville, Tennessee, in 2012, he spent nine years working alongside some of the best in the blues business. His talent was recognised on the international stage when he took second place at the 2021 International New Orleans Cigar Box Guitar Festival, hosted by blues sensation Samantha Fish.
