Alex Kosenko is an independent travelling artist from Brisbane, Australia with a music style best described as a unique mix of Australian Folk and Blues Rock, accompanied by an inventive electric sound.
Alex’s one-man band performances include a thumping kick drum and tambourine, howling harmonica solos, bluesy acoustic-electric guitar and soul driven vocals. His dynamic live shows are high energy performances that include a mixture of original tunes that leave audiences captivated and wanting more.From humble beginnings busking on the streets and in markets across Queensland, Alex has built a solid following within only a few years and his name has quickly made its way to multiple festival line ups and artist supports.
Over the last 3 years, Alex has travelled and performed full-time across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria alongside established artists such as The Screaming Jets Choirboys, Frank Sultana, Russell Morris, Matt Taylor and Wilbur Wilde, as well as supporting Jon Stevens at the Mackay Entertainment Centre in 2023. He has performed at many festivals across QLD and NSW including Bluesfest Byron Bay 2024, Gympie Music Muster 2024, Airlie Beach Festival of Music 2022/2023, Kickass Music Festival 2023 and Buskers By The Lake 2023.
Alex has now released ‘Big Smoke’, his much anticipated follow up to ‘Can’t Slow Me Down’. His latest release has been supported by an extensive regional tour, featured on radio stations across QLD and NSW as well as a sold out single release show in his hometown of Brisbane.
