Devil’s Kiosk are set to sizzle for the love of blues at #AgnesBluesFest in February 2023.
With a heavy blues foundation and raucous blend of boogie and burning blues, driven by the twin peaks of singer/dynamic harp player Jamie Symon (2013-2015 Hohner Golden Harmonica champion) their sound derives from elements of the earthy sounds of the ʻ40ʼs and ʻ50ʼs blues masters, soulful feel of ʻ60ʼs and ʻ70ʼs British blues and the virtuosic magic of more contemporary blues artists
In May 2012 they unveiled their new name and direction at Blues on Broadbeach (an event at which they have appeared since its inception in 2002) adding many faces to their growing following.
Showcasing all new material as well as featuring some of their award-winning songs, Devil’s Kiosk have already wowed fans at the Woodford Folk Festival, Gympie Muster, Sydney Blues and Roots Festival and Brisbane’s Grottofest, as well as winning the 2012 ʻPeoples Choice Awardʼ at the Blues Association of South East Queenslandʼs ʻMemphis Blues Challengeʼ.
According to Time Off Magazine “DK’s charismatic harmonica immediately ignites uniform foot- stomping and mesmerizes at every unpredictable turn!”
With a heavy blues foundation and songs with a darker edge, you can’t afford to miss the drama and energy of Devil’s Kiosk on the Marquee Stage at #AgnesBluesFest
