JUKE JOINT are getting ready to jump in Southern blues style at the Agnes Blues Roots & Rock Festival in February 2025.
JUKE JOINT is a rocking 4 piece blues band who love nothing more than smashing out their own brand of bourbon-soaked blues.
Over the past 18 months JUKE JOINT has had venues jumping from Cairns to Gold Coast, including festivals such as Gympie Muster, Minden Music Festival and Wolvi Stomp with their Southern blues sound in the style of ZZ Top, The Black Crowes and The Rolling Stones.
In 2023 the boys released two singles, ‘Swivel Neck Boy’ and ‘I Liked You Betta’. Both songs received radio play throughout Australia and support from ABC Radio.
JUKE JOINT features Justin Mogler on drums, Gary Graham on bass and harmonica, Roy Bentham on lead guitar and Darren on rhythm guitar and vocals.
Building a reputation as a band that puts on a show, these boys are on a constant quest to turn every venue and event they play into their own personal JUKEJOINT. Banjo in a boogie band? Uke distortion solo? Get ready to expect the unexpected, these boys have plenty of multi-instrumental tricks up their sleeves.
This band has real pedigree with some members having worked in the past with artists such as Thom Yorke (Radiohead) and supported some of the top blues musicians in the country including Lloyd Spiegel, Lachy Doley and Daniel Champagne. Their music backgrounds range from classically trained to session work and they all love rocking out live on stage.
Get ready to jump and jive with JUKE JOINT at #AgnesBluesFest on Sunday 23 February 2025 – you won’t be able to stop dancing. Better get the bourbon on ice, you’re going to need cooling down after their set!
