TRIPLE TREAT: KURRAN RAIN TO FALL ON #AGNESBLUESFEST 2025

Agnes Blues Roots & Rock Festival can’t wait to welcome talented trio Kurran Rain to groove and move you on the intimate, chill-vibe Discovery Stage next month.

Kurran Rain are an acoustic rock trio based in Central Queensland. Their original songs include shades of folk, country blues and reggae, as well as rock.

Vocalist/bassist Jillian Youd is well known to country rock fans around the Gladstone area due to her work in the bands Ethereal and Sand.

Percussionist Kerry Porch is an in-demand drummer around Gladstone and also plays in Ethereal.

Guitarist Laurie Rayment is the songwriter and guitarist for the hard rock band Shaman’s Daughter and also gigs with local cover bands The Fill Ins and Ethereal.

For Kurran Rain, Laurie draws heavily on his previous experience playing acoustic guitar in the Agnes Water based trio, ‘Beautifully Broken’ which he shared with Amanda Heartsong and Jarred Cluff.

Make it a Friday you’ll never forget with Kurran Rain performing on the #AgnesBluesFest Discovery Stage from 5.15-6.00pm on Friday 21 February 2025, for a guaranteed triple treat of good vibe grooves and original acoustic tunes.
