Agnes Water’s very own Murphy Road are gearing up to take the Agnes Blues Roots & Rock Festival Marquee Stage on a rocking journey in February 2025.
Birthed locally in Agnes Water, Murphy Road bring to their performances high-energy blues-rock inspired by legends and driven by passion. The diverse backgrounds of Bryan Williams and Tina Sanderson at the heart of this rocking outfit combine to create an equally diverse, unique sound.
Hailing from Sydney, Bryan is a skilled artist on guitar, flowing effortlessly across genres. He plied his trade on the music scene in the 80’s and beyond, before moving to Canberra to further his musical career and then more recently to Agnes Water.
Originally from North Queensland, Tina delivers a unique vocal style with her influences ranging from rock, jazz and blues artists.
Murphy Road’s most recent performances include Airlie Beach Festival of Music, Agnes Water Blues Roots and Rock Festival, 1770 Festival, Agnes Water Grassroots Festival, Gladstone Beer and Cider Festival, Gladstone Harbour Festival, Yeppoon Tide and Tune Festival and Strum Fest.
With Greg Drinkwater on drums and Tony Hines on harp set to join Bryan and Tina at #AgnesBluesFest in February, the 4-piece can’t wait to rock out the full spectrum of energy that the music of Murphy Road delivers.
Get ready to take a rockin’ road trip down Murphy Road at #AgnesBluesFest on Sunday 23 February 2025. You can’t afford to miss their music-making magic!
