A singer from a young age, Jenni made the bold move from Scotland to Australia in 2010. She made her mark on the Gladstone region music scene after taking part in the local Fast Track talent competition in 2017.
Jenni has had the privilege of singing with local groups the Company of Voices, Sand, Lost for Words and performing at the GECC and Mayors Carols as well as with local community theatre. She has previously performed at #AgnesBluesFest with local band Shaman’s Daughter, who also headlined the Sandy Krak Festival on the Capricorn Coast and also recently appeared on keys with 7 Whales in Moscow.
Jenni quietly released her debut single on Spotify and achieved a first time Top 30 final spot for the Open category in this year’s Australian Songwriters’ Association Inc (ASAI) songwriting competition.
Jenni also devotes her time to passions involving mental health, including involvement with the local RSL services in Gladstone and singing at their services for Anzac Day, Vietnam Vet’s Day and Remembrance Day. She also supports other charities when not working or studying music at Uni.
Jenni’s passion for songwriting was ignited following her involvement with a Beyond Blue charity event in 2017. Now a proud singer-songwriter with many works to her name, Jenni has performed her original music as a solo artist at Beach Arts Music (BAM), Moonbar Moments, Gladstone Harbour Festival and in the Boyne Valley, combining the power of music with life experience to share her story in song.
