TJ Carter is BACK with a few new tricks up his sleeve, namely, a BAND, in an exciting level-up from his pre-pandemic ‘one man band’ days.
TJ has now teamed up with highly regarded Sunshine Coast musicians Andrew Canessa (bass) and Patrick Isles (drums). The trio lock in like they’ve played for years, but maintain a fly by the seat of their pants performance, with smiles all the way.
Delivering powerful shows of well-crafted, moody blues, from slow to WHOA, this new trio line-up is super- excited to be bringing their combined energy to #AgnesBluesFest in a showcase of fresh new material that could be the original sound you’ve been waiting for.
“It’s been such a journey in the making,” TJ explains. “Following on from first playing on the #AgnesBluesFest Discovery Stage in 2020 and 2021, I’m now super-excited to be bringing this new three- piece band format to the main Marquee Stage in 2023.”
“The support from all the festival folk so far has been so positive and encouraging and we really want to express our gratitude by giving this our all. It’s such a big deal to us, we’ll be pulling out all the stops to impress and blow the crowd away at #AgnesBluesFest 2023!”
