Taleena Peck are getting ready to rock #AgnesBluesFest for the first time in 2023.
Founded in Brisbane, Taleena Peck are a two-piece indie rock act consisting of Taleena Peck and Luke Martin.
With a vintage pop-meets-rock sound and no holds barred lyricism, this in-sync pair has spent the last few years frequenting Australia’s east coast live music and festival scene.
Taleena Peck is a Brisbane based singer songwriter, raised in the Scenic Rim. She grew up writing lyrics and taught herself guitar at the age of 14 to assist with her songwriting. After moving to Brisbane at 17, she began playing live gigs wherever she could, playing solo shows all over South-East Queensland.
In 2018, Taleena booked a band gig with no band and Luke Martin came on the scene as her guitarist through mutual friends. Originating from Queensland’s Fraser Coast, Luke began his music career as a teenager, gaining extensive experience playing bass guitar in a variety of bands in festivals and pubs. Luke moved to Brisbane in 2017 and swapped bass not long after for electric guitar.
Taleena and Luke have continued to perform together since 2018 and now write new music together through their similar interests and ideas, sounds and influences.

Designed to complement the Marquee Stage program within the vibrant Festival precinct at the 1770 SES Grounds and now in its third year, the Discovery Stage encompasses the blues, roots and rock genres within a relaxed, intimate atmosphere; getting up close and personal and showcasing original music performed by an eclectic range of entertaining regional artists from Central Queensland and beyond.
